Focus on Project Controlling & Technical Cost Estimation

To support our technical project management, we are looking for a well-organized and technically skilled individual with experience working with CAD data, technical documentation, and project-related processes.

This position combines responsibilities in project management, technical administration, and cost estimation. The focus is on the structured tracking of ongoing projects, the technical processing of customer requirements, and the preparation of inquiries from retailers and suppliers.

You work closely with the development, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure that technical information is provided in a complete, transparent, and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Project Management
  • Creation, maintenance, and organization of project and task lists
  • Tracking deadlines, open items, and responsibilities
  • Ensuring transparent project status across all ongoing requests and projects
  • Support in coordinating the interfaces between development, purchasing, and sales
• 2. Technical preparation of trade and supplier inquiries
  • Preparation of technical documentation for purchasing (drawings, STEP data, assemblies, individual parts)
  • Ensuring clearly defined and verifiable subscription levels
  • Organizing assemblies and components to facilitate clear supplier inquiries
  • Independently resolving technical issues with suppliers when questions arise
  • Coordinating with customers on outstanding technical issues (in close collaboration with Sales and Development)
• 3. Preparation for Cost Estimation (Focus on the Series Production and Quotation Phases)
  • Ensuring that cost estimation documents are complete and well-organized
  • Compilation of all relevant technical data as a basis for pricing
  • Creation and maintenance of material bills of materials for quotation and production cost estimates

Requirements:

• Completed training as a technical product designer, technical draftsman, or similar
• Professional experience in a technical field, ideally in design, product development, or work planning
• Experience in project controlling or project management, particularly in structuring and tracking tasks and projects
• Proficiency in using SolidWorks CAD software, as well as experience working with bills of materials and technical documentation
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and material requirements
• A structured, precise, and independent approach to work
• Ability to clearly present technical content and communicate it across various platforms
• Good written and spoken English communication skills

We are looking for fitters with precise metalworking and processing skills for our special load carrier department. Special load carriers are customized load carriers that are specially developed for the transport and storage of a product. In contrast to conventional load carriers, they are characterized by their individual features such as size, shape, weight and other specific properties, resulting in a large number of variants. 

Your tasks as a locksmith include

• Precise production and assembly of metal structures according to technical drawings
• Execution of MAG welding work
• Strict adherence to work and welding instructions
• Carrying out careful visual inspections of the finished materials
• Ensuring the quality of welded joints through thorough testing

Your tasks as a welder include

• Welding of components, assemblies and complete load carriers
• Strict adherence to work and welding instructions
• Careful visual inspection of the finished materials
• Ensuring the quality of welded joints

Your tasks in prototype and fixture construction include

• Prototype development: You will work closely with our development department and play a key role in the creation of prototypes.
• Sample construction: You produce precise sample containers, which are essential for further development and optimization. This includes both manual and mechanical production processes.
• Test and validation: You carry out tests and functional tests on developed samples to ensure their quality and functionality.
• Production of templates and fixtures: You will create templates and jigs that serve as production aids to ensure the accuracy and reproducibility of manufactured parts.
• Maintenance and optimization: You are responsible for the maintenance and optimization of existing equipment and templates to ensure a continuously high quality of the production processes.

You will need the following for prototype and fixture construction:

• Training: Completed training as a locksmith, toolmaker, industrial mechanic or a comparable qualification.
• Experience: Several years of professional experience is an advantage.
• Technical drawings: You are adept at reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models. These serve as the basis for your work in prototype and fixture construction.
• Good knowledge of MAG welding: You are proficient in MAG welding and can use this technique safely.
• Knowledge of turning and milling desirable: Ideally, you already have experience in turning and milling. You are familiar with the relevant machines and processes
• Independent and reliable way of working: You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. You organize your work processes efficiently and ensure that projects are completed on time and in high quality
