We have received funding for a long-term investment as part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in Hesse. The aim of the funding is to implement a greener, CO₂-free Europe, which is in line with our personal goal of establishing more sustainable and resource-conserving production.

As part of our sustainability strategy and to ensure resource-efficient production, Elkas will carry out an almost complete conversion of the powder coating process, including all downstream process steps, by the end of Q3/2025. By investing in a modern powder coating system, we are pursuing the goal of not only significantly increasing process reliability, but also optimizing the energy efficiency of our production processes. By implementing advanced technologies and adapting our operating processes, we can now achieve a consistent production volume with significantly reduced energy and material consumption in less time.

The new plant enables us to further increase cost and resource efficiency by using less energy and raw materials. This not only represents an economic advantage, but also supports our CO₂ reduction targets. With this step, we are improving our competitiveness on the market and at the same time laying the foundations for more climate-friendly production.

Thanks to this modernization, Elkas will be well equipped for the challenges of the future and actively contributes to reducing our environmental footprint. The new powder coating facility strengthens our position as a forward-looking company and demonstrates our commitment to sustainable production methods that meet both market requirements and our environmental goals.
